Y I Write
I am a strong believer in the philosophy of living as close to nature as possible.
I don’t find this nature to be exclusive to mother nature. Trees, sunshine, bare-feet, mushrooms etc.
There is a current push against our nature, and I think it is a major root of our discontent and depression.
It is almost entirely against our nature to want to wake up rushed and go tend to someone else’s obligations (jobs/companies) for the majority of our days and lives.
We then come home to what really matters with not much left to offer it. Forever untended. Forever we exist trying to keep up with the demands of being instead of satisfying our nature.
I did not know it at the time, but I had found my nature in story crafting (particularly in comic style) when I was in the sixth grade.
I had a regular comic strip in the style of Beavis and Butthead with two friends (an egg and piece of clay) that got into daily adventures. It was such a pleasure sharing those with friends.
As we all do, we grow up and we have to tend to everything but ourselves. We get jobs which will literally outlast even ourselves a lot of times. Permanent retirement before tasting our dreams.
It is no reason (on top of many other modern technological threats) that depression, divorce and discontent is at an alarming uprising and becoming the norm.
I write because story crafting is my natural comfort zone.
It is a place where I can be 100% genuine in my expression.
A place where I can show myself to people without being told that something is genuinely wrong with me.
A place where I won’t be discouraged with my expression of “inappropriate things”.
I believe in my form of humor and creations in that they are pure. Never at the extent of another. Never with evil intent or with the purpose of bringing harm to another.
I write because I satisfy here. Here I flow freely. I flow with satisfying accomplishment in creation. My mind, body and soul were crafted to exist here in the truest of nature.
I am happy here, and I don’t pretend it to be.
This nature can be found in all of us. There is no one nature for the entirety of those that choose to exist freely.
Astronauts. Bakers. Calligraphers. Doctors. Electricians. Fathers.
If it is your true wiring; there you should be. And I am truly happy you have found your place here as we exist. Briefly.
Thank you always Bus-Holes.
I truly look forward to an exciting coexistence with you and am more than grateful for the love and time you have chosen to gift me.
